WWE RAW Selects Damage CTRL, SmackDown Picks Jade Cargill in 2024 WWE Draft

Damage CTRL is coming to WWE RAW.

The 2024 WWE Draft continued on the April 29 episode of WWE RAW after it kicked off on the April 26 episode of WWE SmackDown. Stephanie McMahon presented the first-round picks on Monday.

First, RAW selected Imperium (Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser). Gunther is coming off a historic reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion. He lost the gold to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40. Gunther and Kaiser kicked Giovanni Vinci out of the group on the April 22 episode of RAW.

Next, SmackDown selected Jade Cargill, who has quickly established herself as a dominant force. Cargill and Bianca Belair will challenge the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WWE Backlash.

Then, RAW selected Damage CTRL (IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane). SKY is a former WWE Women’s Champion. Asuka and Sane hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Finally, RAW picked Kevin Owens. Owens is a former Universal Champion, among other accolades. He and Randy Orton will battle Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga at WWE Backlash.
