Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku was involved in a scary accident on Friday evening.
Per The Athletic's Dianna Russini, Njoku suffered burns to his face and arm after attempting to light a fire pit in his backyard.
This sounds terrible. Browns’ TE David Njoku is questionable against the Ravens after sustaining burn injuries to his face and arm during a household accident.

David Njoku is listed as questionable but I’m told “he’s ok.”

The injury occurred when lighting a fire-pit in his backyard.
His agent, Malki Kawa, thanked everyone who reached out after Njoku's injury and also confirmed he is "OK" following the episode.
Thank you everyone for reaching out , but David njoku is ok, thank God.

Njoku's injury is the latest to hit the Browns on offense. They lost running back Nick Chubb (knee) for the season in Week 2. His backup, Jerome Ford, was a full participant during Friday's practice but is on the injury report with a shoulder injury.
Quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) was limited during Friday's practice, as was running back Kareem Hunt (ribs).
Cleveland (2-1) hosts Baltimore (2-1) in a huge early-season AFC North showdown in Week 4. Njoku was set to have a tough matchup, even if healthy. If he can play, Baltimore's defense presents a massive challenge.
Per RotoWire, the Ravens are second in fantasy points allowed to tight ends, having allowed only eight receptions for 45 yards to tight ends through three games.
This season, Njoku has 10 receptions on 11 targets for 92 yards.
